Thanks to the dual miracles of Livejournal communities and Google Earth, I found a Trader Joe's in Connecticut, and it's only a 12-minute drive from my apartment.

Thank God. There will be goat cheese and organic fruit in Connecticut.

Townie Smartass Comment: Wouldn't TraderJoes.com have been a lot easier?

Townie Helpful Hint: Try Edge of the Woods on Whalley Avenue, its less of a drive and a locally owned store with the same idea as TJ. Also all summer there is a farmers market downtown on Saturday's.

I didn't think they HAD Trader Joe's on the east coast until someone on an lj community mentioned one in Orange. So I looked it up on Google Earth. But yeah, traderjoes.com would have been an intelligent move.

Thanks for the tip about Edge of the Woods and the farmer's market. Those are awesome things to hear.
