Begin rant:

I HATE JESS! (Yes, this is a Gilmore Girls rant.) All those stupid icons out there about Jess drive me CRAZY. Fine, he was great in season 3. But in seasons 2 and 4 he was completely the opposite of what Rory needed, and now in season 5 he's out of the picture and that's the way it should stay. Just because he was right for her at one time (and I'm not even sure I'd say he was), doesn't mean he always will be. So I hereby vow to never have an icon depicting him, nor will I ever nominate or vote for a Jess icon in award communities. So there. Take that. Jess is dead to me.

I've never like Jess, even in season 3. He isn't a one-dimensional character, so he certainly has some good qualities, but overall, he's a jerk. Yeah, not really good for Rory. He loved her, sure, but that just isn't enough. I find the episodes he's in to be annoying. He's a nails-on-the-chalkboard experience for me.

Thank you. I wasn't terribly fond of him in Season 3, either, but I felt I had to give some concessions in my argument. And it's been a while since I've seen season 3, too.... I enjoyed one or two episodes with him in season 2, mainly because he makes Dean angry and I don't like Dean either.... But, in general, Jess drives me nuts.
I feel better now. :-D

And I like Logan, I really do... But I'm kind of up in the air as to whether Rory should go ahead and do whatever she's going to do, or if she should date Marty. There's nothing wrong with Marty, and she'll get burned being involved with Logan... but I digress.
