Surgery and an interactive bit
Aug. 4th, 2005 09:28 pmHey all... Had surgery today. This will be a short post so I can get back into bed. Sitting appears to be taking a lot out of me. Turns out having surgery is a very weakening experience. Standing is really difficult.
I'm in some pain, but I've had some generic vicodin and am feeling better now. The worst is the thirst, and the fact that my bathroom is SO FAR AWAY from my room. Getting up to pee is suddenly the biggest ordeal in my life.
They didn't find any endometriosis, which doesn't necessarily mean I don't have it, because it can be microscopic. They DID find some cysts in the lower part of my abdomen, I'm not exactly sure where. The doctor said she hadn't seen anything like them before, and they took them out and sent them to the lab for analysis. I guess when they know they'll tell me and than I can tell you. So the cysts might have been responsible for the pain... I guess we'll see. The good news is that I'm fine other than that, and I can have babies. What a relief! It's so good to have heard the doctor say that.
Okay, that's just about enough typing... They had to try putting the IV in both hands, so they're both bandaged and sore...
Interactive bit:
Stolen from Clark, who stole it from Joe, who stole it from Allie, who probably stole it from the government. Not that I know who Joe or Allie are.
1. Reply with your name and I will write something I like about you.
2. If I were to apply an o'clock to you, I'll tell you what it would be.
3. I will try to name a single word that best describes you.
4. I'll tell you the most memorable moment I've had with you.
5. I will tell you what color you remind me of.
6. I'll then tell you something that I've always wondered about you.
7. Put this in your journal.
