Babies

Everyone is having babies. A couple of LJ friends just had babies, a guy in my guild just had twins, a good friend from high school is due in July, and I found out yesterday two different cousins are newly pregnant.

I am still the old unwed shrew. Not that I have any desire to have kids, but honestly. I feel like a serious minority.

In other news, Cassie apparently made a startling recovery after they put her on pain medication, so my dog is not dying. Claire apparently discovered Cassie's dog door and is now a semi-outdoor cat and is ecstatic about life in general.

I am knitting infant clothing. Since I'm starting on infant clothing for twins, and I knit approximately one stitch per month, by the time your new infant is having his or her own infants, I will have completed infant clothing I can gift to him/her.

And now I'm going to go drink a lot of Irish beer, because I am tired and stressed out about life, and it's some sort of holiday or something. Also I've been inexplicably cranky for five days now. Definitely time for beer.

Rougi and Kava are having a BABY. It will be a scary dragonborn Eladrin baby.

Also, I really miss you. :( If you were here I would feed you delicious Irish stew and um, rootbeer, because I'm not allowed to buy the real stuff. dammit.

Oh man. I don't even want to think about how an eladrin and a dragonborn managed to conceive. There are some weird biological problems there.

Also, don't feel too bad. You know Toby is it for us (YAY!!!!) and here in Utah, an only child is a SERIOUS minority. I fully expect to be getting weird looks for the next 20 years or so. Meanwhile all my friends will be having 500 children and dealing with babies forever while I can take my cool KID anywhere we want to go! Whee!!!

I know right ahahah I keep telling him to potty train himself. We're already done forever with formula and bottles and waking up every 2 hours at night. THIS PARENTING THING IS GETTING BETTER AND BETTER I SWEAR.

Beer didn't help much... I only managed to drink half of one. I have become a serious alcohol wimp.

Michigan is okay. You can't turn left here. But Jim is awesome.

Aw I totally understand what you mean about everyone being pregnant. Everywhere I look someone is having a baby.

And you're not a shrew...and certainly not old. You have been working on school and other things in your life. You shouldn't feel pressured to be married and have kids.
