*LAUGH* Yeah, it's a pet dog. The PI (Susan) has a cocker spaniel she brings in a couple days a week. It stays in the office, and they have a little baby gate across the door so Nebby can't get into the lab area. She's such a cute dog. She's sooo lovey.
I am settling in really well! I've been absurdy busy and haven't even had time to read my friends page regularly... so I've just sort of been skimming your entries. Congrats on the finalized name change... Scary, but cool, right? Hopefully soon things will settle down to a rhythm, and I can catch up.
