My "Religion"--my theology.
Oct. 8th, 2004 08:33 pmTake the quiz: "WHAT RELIGION BESTS SUITS YOU?"

New Aged/Wiccan
An it harm none, do as ye will. You are a fluffy bunny. You wouldn't harm a fly. Actually, you might demonstrate to SAVE the flies! Than again, you're probably busy casing love spells, using a psychic talent, being a Vegetarian or trying to save the Rainforests. Either way, you're harmless.
Hmm. That quiz sucked. I kept wanting to say, "I think Jesus was a really nice guy with some good ideas," or, "Godliness is a state of mind," or, "The devil is a metaphor for all the evil possibilities in the world," or other things like that. There weren't enough options. Why can't we all just be nice to each other? The whole point of life is to be the best person you can be and to do your best to leave the world better than you found it. Sure, I believe Jesus worked toward that. I don't think he was the son of God. I think he just listened better. Whether he was listening to God or nature or his own good spirit is up to you to decide. I don't think it matters. We should all just be nicer to each other. That's not a religion. It's a way of life. But it's more than even that--it's a state of mind, a state of being.
Grah. I don't have enough caffeine in my system to be as eloquent as I need to be to explain this.
I still say I'm half-Mormon. The good half.
