If you don't play Warcraft, this will make no sense to you. So.
I got home tonight around 8:15 and, after checking email and whatnot, logged onto my hunter. I'd logged her out inside Zul'Aman (I'd been trying to farm the trash for amani hex sticks, with little success--i.e. it can't be done without a healer), so I logged back in planning to make a few more attempts at killing some of the trash mobs. I forgot that the game hearths you when you logout in an instance, so I was annoyed to find myself in Zul'Drak (I have my hearth set there so I can search for the spirit beast on occasion, although I gave up on finding it several weeks ago). Immediately one of the members of the guild I left in May whispered me and told me he'd just tamed the spirit beast in Sholazar. I tried really hard not to be angry, and to congratulate him, even though he said he'd only tamed it because no other hunters were online--he has my phone number and knew full well I'd been wanting one.
So, I decided to make a sweep of Zul'Drak before I logged out and did something else.
And there it was. The yellow dot on my minimap, which, on mouseover, read Gondria.
Right where Wowhead said she'd be. Where I waited for days and saw nothing.
I landed, abandoned my current pet (a poor bear I hadn't even bothered to name yet), threw down a freezing trap, shot Gondria with a concussive shot, and started taming. And freaking out. And shaking.
