 Our apartment has pets!

We have a new chameleon.  We got him about 3 or 4 weeks ago and he's about doubled in size since then.  His name is Vaarsuvius, after the great and powerful elf in Order of the Stick (we are certain our chameleon is a boy, though. no gender ambiguity here).

We also now have Claire!  She arrived today, by plane.  Apparently she went through a few "changes" on the flight.


She looks pretty much the same, though.


And she's settled in and started eating and being her adorable usual self.  It's good to have her back. :-)





Also, a while back I had like, a birthday or something.  My dad sent me a pretty dress:

Hehe. V is adorable. I'll have to find some slightly better pictures... And one of him with his tail all coiled up. It's really cute.

Hehe. He gets dark bands when he's pissed off. :-P Otherwise he's usually just a light green. Supposedly they get more skilled at changing colors, and a wider variety of (brighter) colors as they get older.

It's good to have my kitty back. I sympathize with you not being able to cuddle Acouchi. I didn't even realize how much I'd missed Claire until I had her back.
