I need help.

I applied for a loan with Bank of America in August. Two or three weeks ago I got a letter telling me my loan was declined, for reasons unrelated to credit. I called the number at the bottom of the letter and was told the loan was declined because the bank had been unable to verify my addresses--in the last year I've lived at home, on campus, and here. Apparently three addresses in one year makes a bank queasy. I chatted with the customer service rep, wrote down his instructions, and carried them out carefully and precisely. They consisted of drafting a letter from myself, adding a signed statement from the housing office on campus saying I lived there last year, and faxing the thing to Bank of America.

Today I received an exact replica of the original letter stating the decline of the loan.

I have some options.

1. Tomorrow, I'll call the bank and talk to the customer service rep again. This time I'll fax the statement, a current housing bill if possible, and anything else the customer service rep suggests.

2. I apply for a different loan.

3. I apply for a loan at a different bank.

4. I drop out of school, move back to Reno, and sell my body to pay off my current debts, as I won't be able to get a decent job with 2/5 a college education.

If I don't get some money, after October I won't be able to pay rent or afford food unless I move back to Reno. But by then I'll have been dropped from my classes anyway, as I won't be able to meet the mid-October tuition deadline.

And if you're wondering, the loan I applied for was for enough money to get me through this entire school year--a LOT of money. Enough to cover tuition and food and rent for nine months.
