well, i am stuck in this area for at least 2 years, and i'd really like to finish asap b/c i want to have children soonish, but i should be able to work within those parameters. i'm thinking of applying to 3 (yes, three) programs at davis (ecology, sociology, and anthropology). i think my project could fit into any of those, and they must fund better than ucsf (and if they don't, then i won't go)...
