Okay, back to the "making short posts on a regular basis" idea.

Just so's y'all know... I'm extremely susceptible to music and TV shows and have a nasty habit of falling into a TV or movie world without questioning it. So. Please bear that in mind and try not to laugh at me too much for the first half of the next sentence, and try to look beyond it to see the second half of the sentence.

The first episode of the TV show Felicity had a huge impact on my life and my world last night, and I've decided that I need to start doing things for me and my happiness and not for approval, and I'm moving to San Francisco in June whether I get accepted to school there or not.

And that's that.

So in a comment almost completely unrelated to your post (please don't kill me), I randomly got the song from The Last Unicorn stuck in my head and just HAD to listen to the song. On repeat. For like an hour. (Remember, I stole your Kenny Loggins CD when your computer crashed and you were at my house trying to use my computer to read those DVDs?)

That's awesome. I used to listen to that song over and over and over again when I was little. It's one of the few songs I associate childhood with. You know how when you're little everything is so vivid? Every time I hear that song I see all these really vivid imaginings from when I was, like, eight.

It's a good song. I'm not as crazy about the movie.

Yeah. It does bring back some good memories. I watched the movie before I realized it was a book because I was pretty small too. The weird thing is, I actually had to analyze it for English class, and I think I actually liked it better afterwards...what a strange world.

Yeah, I watched the movie when I was really little, long after I loved the song, and remember being impressed by the unicorns in the water but not really being crazy about the rest of it.

I read the book for English when I was sixteen and it made a huge impression on me. I LOVE that book. I don't remember if I liked it better after analyzing or not... I think I had trouble analyzing it because it was a summer assignment that I completed BEFORE the end of the previous year, so by the time I was tested on it I didn't really remember how it ended....

San Francisco...
