i'm sitting here in california and it's way nice. just thought you should know. =P

also, it's not like *horribly* expensive where i live now and it's not as central valley-y as i thought it would be, either. and there's some huge genentech thing not far from here, or you could work at uc davis (just please don't hurt the monkeys) and it's not super far from reno *or* the bay area. maybe you could become a plant biologist. but then i'd just have to live vicariously through you, and i've heard that's unhealthy.
