(no subject)

I leave for Yale in less than 36 hours. I am starting to be very, very nervous.

I have a short list of questions to ask interviewers, but I have NO CLUE what the structure of the interviews is going to be. They said they'll last 30 minutes a piece, and I have six of them. How familiar with the professors' research am I supposed to be? Aren't I not supposed to get accepted directly to a lab, but instead do classwork for a year or two? Why, then, is it so important that I find the ideal PI at this interview?

What do I wear? Nix on jeans, got that. So I assume a past-the-knee skirt and some sort of not-too-tight shirt will do the trick? Or do I have to do the ankle-length skirt and white blouse deal?

Why didn't I get invited to the first interview weekend at UCSF?

Where is Jamie? He was supposed to get here twenty minutes ago.

Aaaauuuugggghhh....
