I have purchased a laptop. It will be here in July (oh, the woes of having a laptop be custom built).

I upgraded its hard drive and memory a bit, but overall it was pretty cost-effective, and very nearly stayed within my price range! Hurrah for sales! Though I love my trusty desktop, it's not terribly portable. I'm looking forward to having things be mobile.
