1. Glad you liked the package! Just so you know when you're planning your scarf, there are 270 yards there. I used similar yarn to make a scarf last fall and used a simple drop stitch pattern, but I think plain ribbing would also look good, maybe a 1x1 so it looks like stockinette once it pulls in? Hum...
2. With you on the being alone at museums thing, especially art museums. At natural history museums I like to have other people around to discuss stuff with. But art is so personal that I agree it's easier to be alone...
3. Congrats on choosing a lab! I'm sure that is quite a weight off. Our first-years are also choosing now and my lab is in the running for one of them so we'll see!
4. I just got my wisdom teeth out last fall, at the ripe old age of 27, and I agree with one of the other commenters that it wasn't that bad! It took less than one Keane song on my iPod and I was done, with just nitrous and novocaine. Mine were pretty easy extractions though - the top ones were through the skin and the bottom ones were straight and behind my back teeth, so there wasn't much digging. That said, the pain meds and I didn't get along that well and I had some lightheadedness issues when I walked around, but I got a lot of tv watching and knitting accomplished!
5. Did you get the email I sent you a couple weeks ago? No worries since I know you're busy, but I was wondering if I got the address wrong or managed to screw up sending it, both of which have been known to happen...
